"I requested a quotation from AGG for the construction of a boundary wall measuring approximately 7 metres in length, 1.65 metres in height, and 325mm in width. The specification was for a concrete block wall with a rendered finish. Prior to approaching AGG, I had obtained quotations from several reputable firms listed on the Edinburgh Trusted Trader scheme. These quotations ranged from approximately £9,000 to £16,000. The estimated cost of materials was around £3,000, and I was advised the work would take approximately four days to complete. AGG quoted £36,995.31, which I consider to be an egregiously excessive sum. I would not recommend this firm."
