Workmanship is excellent and we are delighted with the new, bespoke basement window they put in. It's not often you find a company who do the little stuff and keep you informed of what's happening. "I’m eternally grateful to Andrew and Logan as they uncovered the cause of the damp and mold in my home and they did this in one hour, after I’d had multiple visits from other tradesman over a few years. They quickly fixed the problems in my loft and roof and kept me informed every step of the way. They were thorough, patient, and didn’t just brush things off with a quick fix. Their work is quality and you can tell they really care. They actually found the issue, explained it in a way I could understand, provided vital photos and videos, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking questions and seeking clarification. They were very respectful in my home and my health issues, they are efficient and careful, and genuinely so helpful. After years of feeling stuck, it was such a relief to have tradespeople who clearly knew what they were doing (absolute pros!), genuinely cared, were honest, and put such quality into their work, absolutely recommend them- they went above and beyond. Andrew handled the communication side of things, and the work of both were impeccable. I cannot recommend these guys enough, For four years I was having issues with damp and mold in my house despite doing everything I could, and no one found why this was happening. Thanks to these guys I finally got answers! Their work is of the highest quality. They sent videos and photos with short descriptions and these were incredibly helpful for me to understand the issues fully, to communicate the issue to others, and as evidence of the problem. I have a compromised immune system and not only were they happy to wear PPE, they approached this with understanding and care. I could confidently recommend them to immunocompromised and covid-conscious individuals. They kept me up to date every step of the way, Andrew explained everything and answered all my questions. There is so much that sets Placemakers apart from others, they are both incredibly skilled at what they do and both bring their unique talents which blend together really well, the clarity they provide is amazing, but for me their humanity shone though, they are good people who do a great job. Look no further! Photos were mostly of the damage they found but I’ve included one of the perfectly redone window and the repair they did to the roof showing it before and after."
